Education and Compassion

Support is connected to a real, current need

Before contributing funds, food, material or time, contact the Trust team. This allows every offer of help to be coordinated with the appropriate student, Parayana, animal-care or meal-service requirement.

01 विद्यार्थी सहयोग

ShivBodh Trust Project

Vidyarthi Sahyog

Support for students who are studying Veda or Sanskrit in a gurukul, or who live independently while continuing their traditional studies.

The project is intended to help with essential educational and living needs so committed students can continue their study with dignity and concentration.

Why this seva matters

Traditional Veda and Sanskrit study takes many years of daily discipline under a teacher. Small practical gaps such as books, rent or meals can interrupt that study.

Support can include

  • Texts, notebooks and other study material
  • Meals and daily living needs
  • Accommodation or rent support for students living independently
  • Other educational needs confirmed by the Trust team
How you can participate

Support study materials, food, accommodation or another verified student need through the Trust team.

02 वेद पारायण सहयोग

ShivBodh Trust Project

Veda Parayana Sahyog

Support for the disciplined recitation and study of the Vedas through Veda Parayana.

ShivBodh Trust works to sustain Vedic learning by connecting suitable support with verified Parayana and study activities.

Why this seva matters

The Vedas have been preserved for generations through exact oral recitation. Regular Parayana keeps this living tradition in practice and honours the scholars who carry it forward.

Support can include

  • Arrangements for a verified Veda Parayana
  • Dakshina and support for participating scholars
  • Texts and practical needs of the recitation

Participate by supporting a verified Parayana, its scholars or the practical arrangements required for it.

03 गौ माता सेवा

ShivBodh Trust Project

Gau Mata Seva

Food, care and treatment support for cows found roaming on the streets of Kashi.

The Trust helps feed cows, coordinates care for injured or unwell animals and connects willing supporters with current, verified needs.

Why this seva matters

Many cows in Kashi live on the streets without regular food or care, and injured or unwell animals often go unnoticed. Gau seva is a long-standing expression of compassion in Sanatan tradition.

Support can include

  • Fodder, green feed and anna-daan for cows
  • Coordinating care for injured or unwell cows
  • Reporting a cow in need to the Trust team

04 अन्नदेव योजना

ShivBodh Trust Project

Annadeva Yojana

Nutritious meals of roti, sabzi, dal and rice offered in the spirit of service to living beings.

This project treats food service as prani-seva and aims to make a simple, complete meal available wherever the Trust is able to serve responsibly.

Why this seva matters

In the tradition, anna is honoured as a form of the divine. A complete, simple meal offered with respect meets a real daily need and is itself an act of seva.

Support can include

  • Ingredients for roti, sabzi, dal and rice
  • Meal preparation
  • Distribution as volunteers, in coordination with the team

How to Participate

From your intention to real seva in four steps

  1. Choose a project

    Read the four projects above and decide which seva you feel drawn to.

  2. Write to the Trust

    Email hi@shivbodhtrust.org with the project name and the kind of help you wish to offer.

  3. Learn the current need

    The team replies with the present, verified requirement for that project.

  4. Offer your seva

    Contribute material, time or funds only in the way the official team explains.

Ask first

Confirm the present requirement with the Trust team before sending support.

Choose your seva

State whether you want to help education, Parayana, cow care or meal service.

Coordinate directly

The team will explain the appropriate way to contribute or volunteer.
